US reaches out to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood

A once reluctant United States is reaching out to the Muslim Brotherhood in a nod to Egypt's new political reality, but concerns linger about the group's attitude toward minorities, women and the peace treaty with Israel.

In the wake of president Hosni Mubarak's ouster last February, the Freedom and Justice Party, the Brotherhood's political arm, has claimed the lead in the final stage of parliamentary elections after leading throughout.

Liberal and secular opposition parties have fared poorly.

"It's clear that they (the Brotherhood) are now the only game in town," and US officials must talk to them, said Marina Ottaway, who heads the Middle East program in Washington for the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

I've lost track of the tangled web of deceit in politics, quite frankly I don't care. I'm here to glorify Jesus.

I cannot keep up with it all. And like you I am in this world not of this world just waiting to go home to my Lord and Savior. His house is in order...AMEN!!!

The Reward for Deception...Nimrodism

The gathering / harvest of the Nimrodians ... Gen 11:6 ... Gen 12:1 ... Matt13:30 ...

Obadiah 15...For the day of the LORD YHVH is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your dealings will return upon your own head. Isa 2:10-...Zeph 3:6-...Zech 12:1-...Rev 19:11-...

Rom 16:17 Amp... I appeal to you, brethern, to be on your guard concerning those who create dissensions and difficulties and cause divisions in opposition to the doctrine (the teaching) which you have been taught. (I warn you to turn aside from them, to) avoid them ... For such persons do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ but their own appetites and base desires, and by ingratiating and flattering speech, they bequile (deceive, act treachoriously / al makir) the heart of the unsuspecting and simpleminded (people). For while your loyalty and obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, I would have you well versed and wise as to what is good and innocent and guiltless vs. as to what is evil...

2 Thes 2:10...And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing (going to perdition) because they did not welcome and love the Truth but refused to love It that they may be saved...Therefore Truth departs from them and upon them comes misleading influences, a working of error and strong delusion which makes them believe what is false...Rom 1:25

Romans 16

Romans 16:17 (KJV) is very relevant for Christians in America today. I see much "cultural Churchianity" in America today. "Christian" is an identity/title along side "American" or "conservative". WE ARE NOT A CULTURE. You can be considered holy if you "do the right thing". This is not a relationship with the Most Holy. I know I'm doing something wrong when I'm NOT persecuted. Thank you Shama for that insight.

Fellowship

I have watched this site for over a month before I signed up and I have seen nothing but true fellowship and love for the word on here. It is too bad that this love is not found in are Church's today. The WORD is the WORD plain and simply and if anyone add to or take away woe to them. I left a Church because the word they were preaching must have been in some book I had never read. Revelation 22:19

I so understand

Same issue with me. It's so hard to find a church that is REAL. Pray for me and I'll pray for you too that we find a church home until we get to go to our REAL home!!! :)

I understand the importance

I understand the importance of Christian fellowship and hope you find a suitable church home soon.

You may already be aware of this person, but one pastor that I love to listen to online is Michael Youssef. He is the pastor of Church of the Apostles (www.apostles.org) in Atlanta and his ministry "Leading the Way" (www.leadingtheway.org) has one of the largest, if not the largest, global outreach ministries. He is on the radio, internet and has just recently started broadcasting on television. His sermons are usually posted online at the Church of the Apostles website.

He is solid and preaches the uncompromised truth. God has certainly blessed his ministry.

Stanley

Unfortunately I have only heard about a handful of message from Charles Stanley - he comes on the radio later in the evening about the time I am dealing with little ones so I haven't really had a chance to listen to him that often. From just what I listened to from him though, he sounded okay.

The "first rule of bbq" ... eat the meat ... set aside the bones ... 2Peter3:18 .. John 6:53-58

Mark 4:24 ... AND He said to them, BE CAREFUL what you are hearing ... the measure of thought & study you give to the TRUTH (you hear Hb#8085) WILL be the measure of virtue & knowledge that comes back to you ... and more besides WILL be given to you (who hear/shama) ... for to him who has more WILL be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has WILL be taken away ... Heb 11:6 Increase your "hearing Him" ...

Acts 17:11 ... Now these were better disposed & more noble than those in Thessalonica, for they were entirely ready & accepted & welcomed the message concerning the attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God with inclination of mind & eagerness, seaching the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so ... Many of them therefore became believers, together with not a few prominent Greeks, women as well as men ...

Charles stanley is my go-to

Charles stanley is my go-to preacher when I am unable to attend service on Sunday (sick kid, etc.) I've been watching him for years; he's on target. God has used him many a time to relay a lesson pertaining to something going on in my current life.

There was a stink about him several, several yrs. ago re: his marriage; his wife divorced him and many in his church felt he should step down because of that. He did not want the divorce and did not feel God telling him to leave his calling. He talks about how God used that very hard time in his life a lot in his sermons.

Charles Stanley

I have heard about both of those preachers, I find it hard to believe a preacher when they don't talk about repentance and hell. A true preachers of the Word would love his congregation enough to preach repentance of sin, Jesus Himself preached more on hell than heaven. Eternity is a concept few have to grasp.

Charles Stanley preaches a lot on grace, which is good, but you need the full gospel.

Oh, I've heard Charles

Oh, I've heard Charles Stanley speak plenty on repentance as well as heaven/hell, FTGF. He also speaks of our current times, which we so desperately need.
