Researchers at Michigan State University have successfully demonstrated how a new virus is capable of evolving and mutating.
In the current issue of Science, the researchers showed - for the first time - how a virus known as "Lambda" evolved to find a new way to attack host cells, which ultimately took four mutations to accomplish.??

Is that really what happened here -new, beneficial information arose from this experiment??? Because from what I read it seems that it was adaptation at play. Evolution theorizes one
Sat, 01/28/2012 - 00:31Evolution theorizes one family of species evolved into a new or different family, apes to man etc. Which has never been proven and the sheer lack of evidence is enough (besides the word of God) to say it's a dead theory. What they have proven is a gene's capability to develop new traits, i.e. all species of dogs originate from wolves but very in size, color, and shape. So certain genes were passed on in one making new characteristics while suppressing other characteristics but the dog is still a dog it didn't evolve into a cat. They are still a part of the same family, Canis Lupus, thus their genes are still essentially the same. These are genetic locks and I believe God put them there and told us so when he said "every animal after it's kind" in genesis.

Sat, 01/28/2012 - 00:02They just slipped the word "evolve" into old news to support the theory of evolution. Viruses have always been capable of mutation. That is why they have to produce a new flu vaccine every year. If they never mutated, one flu shot wouid do ya for a lot longer period of time.

Sat, 01/28/2012 - 14:33Yeah I've heard that but I was referring more to the vaccine being the cause rather than the cure. During the spanish flu in 1918 there were reports from nurses whom had personally seen young healthy men get the flu shot one day and end up dead the next day. During the swine flu outbreak a doctor in Norway (I think it was Norway) was weary about giving his patients a vaccine that had not been tested first, so he injected the first batch into some ferrets and they all died, later it was determined that live virus had been in the vaccine by "accident" or poor quality control. Next year they are coming out with a flu vaccine that is supposed to be the cure-all for all flu viruses, meaning you will never need another flu vaccine again. I especially would not recommend getting this one either.

Sat, 01/28/2012 - 12:47I don't know about y'all, but I'm seeing strange new viruses in the last couple of years. One in particular everyone thinks is a virus, but it's really a bacteria; and it is mean and very particular (attacks your ears eventually). The longevity of it is awful.
I'm just now getting over another illness that has spread through my family...and if it's not the flu, I don't know what is! I tested negative on the swab, but what else gives you incredibly high fevers, body aches, terrible fatigue, upper resp. symptoms that lead to walking pneumonia in 4 out of 5 people? My doctor said it is SO similar. I frankly wonder if it's not that new swine flu that is going around in 5 states last I heard. My nurse friend told me that false negatives on flu tests are very common, especially w/ a certain kind of brand-name test.

I did (thought I slept on it wrong; then sore throat followed) and now my husband can barely turn his neck. Hope he's not getting it; he's the only one not to get it in our family. I know some illnesses can do that; set up on you strangely. Years ago, it happened to my whole family; neck/illness.

I thought the same thing, that I had just slept wrong but by the end of the day my throat was sore. My husband didn't mention a stiff neck but he had mentioned shortly before getting sick that he thought he pulled his shoulder, I never thought anything of it but now you've peaked my interest.

Sat, 01/28/2012 - 15:28The immune system of our planet earth is very ill and it is making it's creatures ill as well. We need our HEAVENLY PHYSICIAN to come and make her well again. Man has NOT helped in this endeavor when working in labs trying make new vaccines to combat such things. The OVER USE of antibiotics has strained the immune system of all living creatures on this planet. OUR FOOD CHAIN has been compromised with hormones and antibiotics which has weakened our food source thus weakening our immunities to FIGHT OFF viruses and diseases. Something EVIL this way HAS come. In time something is going to escape "THE LAB" of evil and do what it was DESIGNED to do. KILL HUMANS! It will have no regard to whom it attacks for it cares NOT.
