More than 100 'Earth-like' planets discovered in past few weeks
More than 100 planets that are a similar size to Earth have been discovered in just the past few weeks, it has been announced.
The discovery was made by the space telescope Kepler which has been scanning the skies for planets that are orbiting stars since it was launched in January last year.
The breakthrough raises the tantalizing prospect that we may not be alone in the Universe.
Scientists now believe that there are likely to be around 100 million planets in the Milky Way that harbour exactly the right conditions for life. And they expect to be able to identify around 60 of these habitable

The Perfect Set-up Emerging?

Even though we won't be here to watch this play out, it becomes easier to understand how the masses left behind might be deceived and what shape the "strong delusion" might take. I feel like the "prophecy train" is picking up speed...

Fri, 07/23/2010 - 12:48I agree look -- when I look at the news I'm amazed at the fever at which stories are coming out that all point to prophecy. I have several friends who are saying the same thing. I'm glad that believers won't have to endure what's coming. I'm sad that those who are on the fence and haven't made a decision will be left behind to deal the world.
The 100 million planets plus the Chinese UFO stories -- its all coming together at light speed.
