Many Americans expect Jesus' return by 2050
A new survey finds that Americans are divided over whether they believe Jesus Christ will return by the year 2050.
Among respondents to the survey by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press and Smithsonian Magazine, 41% said they expect Jesus' Second Coming in the next 40 years, while 46 percent said it probably or definitely won't happen.
The poll suggests that 58 percent of white evangelicals believe Jesus will return by 2050 compared to only 32 percent of Catholics, and respondents with no college education were three times as likely as those with college degrees to expect Christ's Second Coming in the next 40 years.

Everyone needs to wake up
Wed, 06/23/2010 - 17:44Everyone needs to wake up and smell not only the coffee but the winds which are blowing from all four corners of the world! Jesus promised in His Word "this generation will not pass away" when speaking of His return in relation to when Israel would be brought back together as a nation! WAKE UP!!!!! This happened in OUR LIFETIME!! No one with ANY common sense and the ability to add could mistake for anything more than it actually is. Our Heavenly Father is not one to speak in lies. If you do the math it makes sense. I understand no one will ever know the hour or moment where God calls His children home...however!!! The Bible does clearly explain we will know the signs or the times just as man can look to the sky to determine when it will rain or when the wind will blow. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus!!!!!!!
AMEN!!!!!

RE: 2050 -- all you have to do is to look at the postings on this site to realize that everything is aligning perfectly according to prophecy. I remember out pastor back in the mid 1960's preaching that Christ would return in our lifetimes. As I watch the news its clear that we're marching towards that end faster and faster with each passing day. I know that we won't know the exact hour of His return - but its very clear that His return is near. I for one can't wait.
