Israeli ambassador: 'Tectonic rift'
Israel’s Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren is reported to have told Israeli diplomats that the U.S. and Israel are experiencing a “tectonic rift,” not a temporary crisis.
“There is no crisis in Israel-US relations because in a crisis there are ups and downs,” Oren told a a closed briefing to senior officials in the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s North America Branch and research division, Yedioth Ahronoth’s Itamar Eichner reports.
“According to the Israeli diplomats, Oren said …’Relations are in the state of a tectonic rift in which continents are drifting apart,’” Haaretz said.

Tectonic rift

We have always supported Israel and we have been truly blessed as a naition because of this. God has promised in His word He will bless the nation who blesses His nation Israel!!!! When we as a nation fail to support the apple of God's eye we fail to grasp the reality of what He truly means. Ignoring the Word of God as America has is as if our nation has thumbed it's nose to our Creator! I pray the citizens of America will realize the slippery slope our leadership has chosen to take and demand we reverse this damaging stance! We are truly living in the final days of our time here on this old Earth. I long for the call home from our Heavenly Father!!!

Submitted by toddtomlinson on Sun, 06/27/2010 - 21:23.We are paying the price for turning our back on Israel - although interesting that we are seemingly about to support Her militarily as we jointly take on Iran. I too feel deep in my heart that Christ's return is soon.
