I'm seeing hints of things
I am seeing some hints of things to come. Obama has withdrawn our troops. He has downsized the military. He is trying to take away our ability to arm ourselves. All of this at, of all times, when Iran is getting so much closer to that ominous nuke. Our government is getting more and more intrusive into our personal lives. They are trying to regulate even the light bulbs we buy to light our homes. They try to influence what kinds of cars we drive. They control the material our children are taught (brainwashed with) in the public school system. I am seeing our media literally tell us what we should believe-in every facet of life-from politics to religion. Christianity is not to be tolerated. It is to be scoffed at. Good people like Palin get their home lives assaulted on an ongoing basis. You let a black conservative Christian try to run for the Republican candidate for President...well, we have seen what happened there. The "powers that be" are in control of this Earth. Our Government does not even follow the Constitution anymore! Our President doesn't even qualify for the job by the most basic requirements-he isn't even a natural-born citizen. He is an imposter-come here to finish off the job of ruining the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave."
This is all putting our country right where it needs to be for the Tribulation to begin. I suppose I shouldn't get frustrated. I suppose I should rejoice. "Our redemption draweth nigh!" But, man it is grueling standing by and watching as every one of the freedoms for which our forefathers died is stripped from us. I believe that Obama's election marked the end of our country as we know it. But, then again, this is not our Country. I am thinking that if the U.S. allowed freedom during the Tribulation, well, it wouldn't be much of a "tribulation" because all anyone would need to do would be to come here illegally (something very much allowed by us nowadays), and they wouldn't be persecuted! Our tax dollars would ensure that they were well-taken care of!
I honestly think that Iran will nuke Israel very soon. Maybe on 12/21/12. I know the antichrist has to make himself known to us before the rapture. Is this the date he will? Maybe he will come forward to "save" the world from the ensuing chaos. People will talk of "peace and safety". Then we can GO HOME!!!!!

As much as I want to rejoice that our redemption is upon us, it is extremely frustrating to sit here and watch as this world becomes like the days of Noah. Even more frustrating to me is realizing how many people I care about will be left behind. Yes, that is to be expected, but it doesn't make me feel less sad for them. Many hearts are already hard and unable or unwilling to hear and see what is happening around us.
I am curious about one thing you said..."I know the antichrist has to make himself known to us before the rapture." My pastor, as well as others, have said that we won't know who the Antichrist is b/c he won't make himself known until after the Rapture. The reasoning behind this is because the world will be in such tremedous chaos from the disappearance of millions of people, followed by the tremendous economic upheavel caused, people will be searching for answers and a "savior." The Antichrist will then step into position. It makes sense to me, but who knows?!

I have turned almost exclusively to looking at news on rap-con.com, prophecyupdate.com, wnd.com, and israeltoday.co.il The rest is all left wing controlled. More importantly, I'm spending a lot more time in His Word -- which is all we need to read to understand what's happening in the world. I've also started to listen to countless sermons on iTunes. SearchLight with Jon Courson, Renewing your Mind with RC Sproul, etc. Fill your mind with Him!
Another great tool -- if you have an iPhone (assuming its on Android as well) -- Daily Audio Bible.
Can't wait for our Rap-con family reunion! We'll all sit at the banquet table and celebrate. Just think -- a billion-billion years from now we'll be no closer to the end of eternity in Heaven than we are today. For those who haven't fully committed their lives to Christ - who aren't surrendering completely to God -- who aren't letting God take complete control -- who aren't walking in the Spirit -- come quickly -- for a billion-billion years from now you'll be sitting in agony wishing that you would have made a simple decision that would guarantee your spot in Heaven.

I find it unbelievable how many Christians are unwilling/unable to address the times that we are living in in conversation, small groups, or even from the pulpit. I too have taken to getting my news from sources other than mainstream media and continously line things up against what the Scriptures teach. I am amazed at how far our Lord continues to go to reach out to us; He has given us His Word, His Spirit, His own Son as payment for our sins, just to enable us to have an eternity to enjoy Him! Thank you Lord; Maranatha!

Since we have the holy spirit in us we can sense the darkness and lateness of the hour. It is daunting to think that we do not know how bad things are going to get before the rapture. It is amazing the speed in which things are happening. I believe God puts evil people in power to serve his purpose. I think that is why Obama is president. Fri, 01/06/2012 - 20:19I have an incredible sense of peace and calm within my spirit despite the uncertainty around me. I work in health care (30 years) and we all know how crazy it has become. I get all my information almost exclusively from Christian websites and can see how fast and furious things are coming to a close as we know it. I am 48 years old and believe with every fiber of my being that I will experience the wonder and joy of meeting my Savior in the heavens when He returns for His bride. The chaos happening around the world should serve as a warning to those of us who call him Lord and Savior. We must live lives that demonstrate who we are and what we know to be truth. We must reach those who are searching, those who are lost, those who are hurting. The time is short and so many will be left behind because they did not open the door of their hearts. We have work to do. I pray that the Lord will open my eyes to the work He has for me each day and use the pitiful, broken vessel of my life to speak to those around me of the love and mercy that Christ gave to me, gave to all of us, when he shed his precious blood and died on that cross to give me eternal life.
antichrist's appearance pre-rapture

For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed-the one who brings destruction." We are currently having a great rebellion against God. It is my understanding that this verse points out that the antichrist will be revealed before we get to go Home.
Man, I can't wait to meet all of you siblings of mine in Christ!!!!! I was watching a YouTube video of a Hillsong United concert recently, and I looked at the literally thousands of believers worshipping in the audience. It was so powerful to look at. I realized that here were thousands of believers in one city in one country at one concert. WOW. What a TINY FRACTION of all the believers out there! And THEN, I realized that this represented only those believers alive in that place NOW. Think of all the believers there have been throughout the ages!!! Talk about fellowship! The closer I am to Christ, the more love I have for His people. Sometimes I am so filled with love and the desire to encourage that it is amazing. And we will be right there with our Savior-the One who is Love itself. Think of the people we will be able to get to know! And the time we will have to do it!
Rebellion against God
Sat, 01/07/2012 - 08:36I hate to disagree with you, but I don't see a "great rebellion against God" happening today. There are just to many Christians on the earth today. Even those who disagree with God are not rebelling against him. This won't happen until the "Restrainer" (Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way. And that won't happen until the Church is removed. Only then will there be a GREAT rebellion against God. And only then will the Antichrist be identified. Personally, I don't even want to know who he is.

Sat, 01/07/2012 - 10:10The one thing that I have not herd talk about on this site to much is papal inquisition. The vatican (popes) killed millions of true Christians. I am a firm believer that if you study history and read Revelation 17 truly the vatican is drunk with the blood of the saints. Every politician is controlled even Ron Paul. The whole sex scandle with Herman Cain was just a distraction. You cannot talk politics and who’s (evil) without looking directly at the vatican. I wish that it would just be more open on this site. The pope is a death worshiping psychopath. If you ask me he is the anti-christ. Just look at how he is trying to join the world religions together for a one world religion….and promotion a global currency to solve the problem he and his Jesuits created. Sat, 01/07/2012 - 12:59the universal church has been the greatest persecutors of Christianity there is, yet they are called christian.
The underlying truth that is often overlooked is that Catholicism is nothing more than Babylonianism with christianized names and words. I agree that this religion led by a supposed Christ on earth will be a major part of the endtime religious order.
What is often overlooked is that this religious order of the final days is referred to as Mystery Babylon for a reason. It seams that in God's eyes he sees the root of the false religion and its false leader as Babylon. A study of the Babylonian religious activities is very helpful; in this area. In reality all religions have their roots in Babel except Judaism and Christianity. God called Abraham out of the land of Shinar from the Ur of the Chaldees this was Nimrod's country and Babylonianish living.
God is going to deal with the root with the final plague of the last vial of wrath as he destroys the total Babylonian rebellion against Himself Rev 16:17-21. No doubt that the Papal system will be a major part of the endtime world religion. We see this forming before our very eyes today.
Let's purpose not to be lead away with the false teachers of our times but to remain steadfast unmovable in the word of the Lord.

I do agree with you about the pope/vatican they will unite the world for a one world religion and there are already "hints" that they are doing this with their "council for religious unity" or what ever they want to call it. Add to that the fact that they say THEY are the only true Christian religion and all others are false and the laundry list goes on. If you would like to start a forum topic on this subject I would be happy to post some of the info I have on them.

Satan is definitely using him to put the world religion and global currency into place. He may even be the one who helps bring the antichrist into position. Only God knows.
I have an incredible sense of urgency and "inner-knowing" that our time here on earth will be drawing to a close very soon. What amazes me when I speak to other Christians about being ready, many look at me like I am crazy, while others say that it won't be in this lifetime, and even others say they don't believe it will ever happen! I must admit, I was raised in a Methodist church where the Return of Christ was never mentioned. Imagine my surprise when I started attending a Baptist church where I learned about Christ's return, but even better was my education on the Rapture!! I had NEVER heard of it!! My parents had never heard of it, either! Why are pastors afraid of or avoiding this vital inormation?! Satan is pulling out ALL the stops! I am still shocked by the devious ways he works his way into our lives in his effort to destroy us! This may sound selfish, but I am ready to hear the trumpet! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!!!

I travel the country speaking on prophecy and Science and the Bible and I never cease to be amazed at the number pf pastors that have me come because they are afraid to study and speak on endtimes and prophecy. Their people set like sponges and beg us not to stop. I'm so glad you have come to a place of truth and have discovered these great things for yourself.
We need to share this with others even if they do not want to believe at least your hands will be innocent in the day of Judgment.

I think it is a subject that churches are probably not covering in Sunday school and really should be (on some level). We really need something to balance out the garbage they are getting in school.

While they all agree the rapture will happen a few say it isn't anytime soon and still a few more don't think it will be in our lifetime. Is it apathy brought on by so many false alarms from so many false prophets or are they too worldly to see the signs of the times? I don't know but it only further strengthens me and reassures me that the times are here and the Laodicean Church will be caught unaware.

Sat, 01/07/2012 - 21:23There are a few things about this that are not correct with the rest of prophetic writers about the ten kings. The kings and kingdoms will be gentile kings and not the religious leader. The false prophet that will pave the way for the Antichrist may well be as you think the pope. But don't get other prophetic events mixed up and out of their context.
revelations 17 and 18 depict not only this whorish blood thirsty woman but also a commercial and political Babylon as well. The link has these blurred together as if it were all one.
The piece was interesting and revealing of the truth of this false Christianity.
But the Pope in question is dead and no doubt in hell if he had never placed his complete trust in the shed blood of Jesus . If he died believing the catholic doctrine as taught then he is in hell awaiting the final judgment and the Lake of Fire.
He will not rise from the dead to sit on any throne. The reference to wounded unto death has to do with the antichrist and not the fasle prophet they are two separate people for the tribulation period.

The way I see it there are going to be scorpions as big as a horse running around stinging people. When the keys to the bottomless pit are opened my guess is all bets are off as fare as what is out of the question. Each person has to go over it themselves. The Kings, I believe, are the heads of the Roman empire which will be the seventh that brings in the tribulation and the eight the Antichrist himself. You are true that God has given us an insight into things to come and as fast as technology and science are evolving what we see today may be a long way from their final end. We can see that they are working that direction.
Isn't it great to be saved and not really have to worry about what the final stages will be!!

I was raised Catholic, and no matter how off their theology is, no matter how many false doctrines, and no matter how off their eschatology is; they definitely do not deny the Son. In fact, they reaffirm his authenticity at every mass with the recital of the Nicene Creed:

To be honest, I dont trust the Catholic church -they clearly deceive people. They likely play a large role in the end times. But as far as the pope being the Antichrist, I dont think so. I think she is the woman who rides the beast.
