East Says / West Says - The Catholic Church The O.W.C?
I have been getting a lot of email from folks about the Eastern vs Western mindset. So I put together a video and I would like some feedback.
VIDEO SUMMARY
Those who hold a Western Mindset state that the Catholic Church is the Mother of Harlots spoken of in the Book of Revelation. Some call it The One World Religion, and others The False Prophet, ect. But does the Catholic Church have the demographics to actually support these positions? Is there another that can? Those who hold an Eastern Mindset say yes and they have the demographics to stand upon. You be the judge... East or West?

I am very interested in hearing from those of you here at Rap-Con and your ideas. We know that the God we serve is one of logic and reasoning. I have to ask, are we chasing after straw men looking towards the EU? We often forget that the bible is about the Middle East, specifically Israel.

Progressive = Pro-"grace"-ive Prophetic Revelation

I must admit I was pretty astounded, but even more astounding is the God we serve and how he gives us the revelation of prophecy little by little. It is His grace; giving us time to turn our hearts and the hearts of others back to Him. As we get closer to the time, more and more will become evident.
Also, until "it" is accomplished our understanding will be unclear, "through a glass, darkly." For example, before Israel returned to the promised land many prophecy scholars made incorrect assumptions about Israel, the church, and a host of other things. So, it is never a bad thing, in light of what is happening in the world; to re-think our position on a prophetic issue. Otherwise we run the risk of missing the truth and believing a lie. Remember, the people of God are blown by the wind of the Spirit. Go with God's flow as he opens our eyes to a great many things. I think I mixed about as many metaphors there as possible...

Chasing After Straw Men?
Submitted by castille7 on Tue, 10/06/2009 - 22:45.I would first like to mention this video is a great work and a must see. I've been sharing it with others soon after viewing it. Great team work! This world needs tools like this to help the spiritually blinded eyes open to the Gospel.
Bible Prophecy is obviously seen and understood by a select few, for those of us who know it fairly well can see that Prophecy draws a picture. With the Anti-Christ and his deception of many tells us that he will seek Worship and will be God like. This gives us a picture of a One World Church. With the culture of beheading as their prerferred style of execution and the second largest also fastest growing religion in the World, that One World Church speaks for itself. With the Mark of the Beast and the idea of not being able to buy or sell without it gives us a picture of a One World Government.
They say in this World money is power and the largest amounts can be tracked back to the Black Gold and those who are controlling it. The US is barely on the charts when compared to the supplies of Crude Oil from the Middle East. This picture given is looking like the reason for the growing popularity of the Euro. In my opinion we are not chasing after straw men looking at the EU.
