Clinton demands UN action on Syria
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday demanded UN action to stop spiraling violence in Syria as she prepared to join other top diplomats in pressing a reluctant Russia.
As a Syrian government offensive was blamed for the deaths of dozens more civilians, Clinton said she would join the foreign ministers of France and Britain and the Arab League chief at the United Nations on Tuesday.
"The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the escalation of the Syrian regime's violent and brutal attacks on its own people," Clinton said in a statement.

World War spark?
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 17:07I've been following this story for quite some time, there are many things that make me believe Syria may be the spark that ignites a new world war. From what it looks like, we're seeing Syria, China, Russian, and Iran all on the same page. A conflict could occur within months. Please think about it, that's a massive loss of life. Mon, 01/30/2012 - 20:40The UN as of now is the united world force to impose its will on any nation. Consider the last of Daniels three endtime gods who were not the gods of his time. The last one he mentions is in Da 11:39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
A strange or foreign force that can usurp authority from without that can impose its will over the most strong holds.
This is the OWO and the UN is a prelude to it if not the next to the last step.
The other two gods are in verse 38 the god of forces (Science and technology) and an unknown god that will in the endtimes be a god or influence that governs the whole world and from what it is worshiped with and rewarded with I believe that to be (Money and finance).
These first two forces or gods are enabling globalism to become the ultimate god of control over the entire world for the antichrist to rule.
Just my take on the UN!

Mon, 01/30/2012 - 21:40From all the articles above it looks like any conflict in the world today that involves America would be Russia, China, and Iran against the United States, the West, and Israel.
The problem here is America is not mentioned in Bible-prophecy (at least to my knowledge). Which could lead to the conclusion if war erupts between U.S forces and the new "Axis" we can already look into the outcome from scripture. America will be no more. I know that sounds dark, but it's just a theory. Any idea's?
I don't know how reliable this site is, this video is almost a year old and my be slanted towards a Russian agenda. It's still important to see though.

As for the west I perceive that we are Europeans or an extension of Europe that places us in with the King of the west .
It seems obvious that God is resizing the foot to fit the final prophecy for ten toes as the big toe of the world USA is coming down. I don't think that these three nations you mention will all confederate together since the King of the East is coming separately from the king of the north.
We may soon know or if the trumpet sounds who cares?!!
