Chrislam: Our Golden Calf

"How can anyone deny the contribution of the world's great religions to the development of civilization?"
A statement by Pope Benedict XVI in Vatican City on January 1, 2011

Chrislam is our 21st century act of syncretism, by trying to promote a culturally designed combination religion of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism in the interest of peace. This interfaith apostasy is our modern version of the worship of the golden calf (created by Aaron as a combination of the Egyptian bull deity and the God of Israel). The Lord ordered Moses to go down the mountain at once to stop this abomination.

The stated goal of the "Chrislam" interfaith movement was to promote understanding between different religions to increase acceptance of others, and to facilitate cooperation between faiths for humanitarian service projects. The actual result is the preaching of Islam in many Christian churches - and the beginnings of a umbrella organization that will ultimately form a one-world religion.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
(1 John 4:1-6)

The Chrislam movement has gained impetus by statements from President George W. Bush that Christians, Jews, and Muslims all worship the same God, and by Rick Warren's reference to Isa (the Muslim name for Jesus) in his prayer at the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

But, the "Jesus" in the Quran is neither the only-begotten Son of God nor the Messiah who was divinely appointed to restore the House of David. He is rather viewed as a prophet who was appointed by Allah to prepare mankind for the coming of Mohammad.

The Islamist Anjem Choudary has just released a Christmas message in which he asserts that Jesus, if alive today, would be a practicing Muslim. Not only that but, according to Choudary, Jesus (who he refers to as "Isa") would also be leading the crusade to free "Muslim land" and implement sharia law across the world. We must not be deceived into thinking that all "people of faith" think alike!

What really is "Chrislam"? It is the ecumenical joining of all faiths by groups like the Vatican, the King Abdullah Center, the Interfaith Alliance, the Alliance of Civilizations, the World Council of Churches, and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, using peace as a tool to replace core Christian beliefs with a type of "spirituality".

There is a plan to make a one-world religion that would harm us in ways that we do not perceive. God is warning us to not become a part of this fellowship of apostate Christianity, Islam, Judaism and other religions melded together to form a one world religion that all must follow. All this is supposed to be done in the name of PEACE.

A recent example of this interfaith apostasy is the "King Abdullah Center" - which will host seminars, conferences, dialogues and other events bringing together individuals of different backgrounds and faiths - and will have a governing body composed of 12 representatives from the world's five largest religions.

The governing body is to be staffed by two Muslims (Sunni and Shiite), three Christians (Catholic, Anglican and Orthodox), a Buddhist, a Hindu and a Jew. The organization will also have a consulting body with 100 representatives from the five world religions plus other faiths as well as academics and members of civil society.

Saudi King Abdullah came up with the idea for the center after visiting Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican in 2007. Shortly thereafter, Abdullah stated that Christians and Muslims should offer a "common message of peace" to humanity.

This religious deception is the first horseman of the apocalypse! And this isn't referring to deception coming from non-Christian religions. Jesus said many people would be deceived about His message - about what true Christianity really is.

Don't fall for this "golden calf". The fact is that there are irreconcilable conflicts between Christianity and all other religions. Christianity alone makes provision for man's basic need - the forgiveness of sin.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know."

Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?"

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
(John14:1-6)

We pray the Lord will bless you and encourage you to prepare your heart and be a part of the last days Harvest for the Kingdom of God!

So true

But an even greater problem is the apostasy within the churches that once stood for the faith. The progressive movement has not only captivated the political world but the spiritual one as well. The downward slide into modernism by compromise is a greater problem than the devils crowd mimicking true churches. A counterfeit is only good if there is a true one to counterfeit.

Your article and research is a great work and much appreciated by all who are concerned with the apostasy of Christianity in these endtimes.
Thanks

The process of the Chrislam apostasy is accelerating:

Pastor Warren responds

Great article that clears a lot of things up. More misquotes by the media - attempting to confuse the facts. http://saddleback.com/blogs/newsandviews/news--views-030212/

1 Thes 5:21-23kjv...But test and prove all things (until you recognize) what is good; (to that hold fast). Abstain from evil (shrink from it and keep aloof from it) in whatever form or whatever kind it may be...And may the God of Peace Himself sanctify you through and through (separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God); and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete (and found) blameless at the coming of our LORD YHVH Jesus Christ (the Messiah)

More "Chrislam" is coming:

Today Rabbi David Saperstein, director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, signed a statement entitled “Arab-Israeli-Palestinian Peace is More Urgent Than Ever,” coordinated by the National Interreligious Leadership Initiative for Peace in the Middle East.

Concerned with new challenging developments in the Middle East, as leaders of major Jewish, Christian and Muslim national religious organizations inspired by core teachings of our traditions, we affirm with urgency that Arab-Israeli-Palestinian peace is more vital than ever. We remain guided by our founding “Principles of Cooperation” in which we acknowledge how our bonds with those on different sides of the conflict sometimes lead to differing viewpoints, and we reemphasize our common agenda for peace. We derive encouragement from benchmark principles developed by Arabs and Israelis in earlier formal and informal negotiations that provide practical parameters for a peace agreement that could be acceptable to majorities of Israelis and Palestinians.

Herman Van Rompuy who is president of the European Council, made up of 27 member states of the European Union (EU), says that the EU must be a union of values and that it needs spiritual and religious input into the daily operation of this major political structure as called for by the Lisbon Treaty, the constitution for the EU. Article 17 of the Lisbon Treaty calls for continuing consultations between the leaders of the EU and all religious organizations which is something that the Vatican in Rome has been trying to achieve for decades.

Even before the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty consultations were taking place and recently more than two dozen Christian, Jewish, and Moslem leaders met with the presidents of the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the leadership of the 27 member states that is called the European Council.

Tel Aviv University is to establish the first interfaith center of its kind in Israel, in cooperation with the University of Cambridge in England. The center will conduct comparative research on the world's three major monotheistic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - to dispel "dangerous" stereotypes, according to the center's head.
