Cashless Society: India Implements First Biometric ID Program for all of its 1.2 Billion Residents
Recently, India has launched a nationwide program involving the allocation of a Unique Identification Number (UID) to every single one of its 1.2 billion residents. Each of the numbers will be tied to the biometric data of the recipient using three different forms of information – fingerprints, iris scans, and pictures of the face. All ten digits of the hand will be recorded, and both eyes will be scanned.
The project will be directed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) under the premise of preventing identity theft and social welfare fraud. India has rather extensive social welfare and safety net programs, ranging from medical support and heating assistance to others aimed at helping the poor. Fraud is a rampant problem in India, especially in relation to these programs due to a preponderance of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats who often stuff welfare rolls with fake names and take the money for themselves.
Yet, although the justification for the billion person database is the increased ability to accurately disperse social welfare benefits, it will not be just the Indian government’s social welfare programs that have access to and utilize the UIDAI. Indeed, even before the program has been completed, major banks, state/local governments, and other institutions are planning to use the UIDAI for identification verification purposes and, of course, payment and accessibility.

Mon, 01/16/2012 - 14:02I followed the links back as far as I could -- and this article originally dates to Sept 2010. I can't believe we missed it back then. As far as rejecting articles are concerned, I have two main reasons: 1) the link doesn't work, or 2) it was previously posted. I always try to mention the reason in the rejection email.
odd...

Combine this article with the
Mon, 01/16/2012 - 13:12Combine this article with the fact that not so long ago the idea of getting rich from trade with India may not have seemed so likely, as India was an impoverished third world country. However, today, right now, India's economy is booming and guess who is one of their great trading partners. Israel. Interesting.
Not the mark...........
Mon, 01/16/2012 - 18:35There is a huge problem in India with people trying to get welfare, get a job or even open a bank account who have no way to identify themselves & thus are unable to access these services. I have a Unique Identification Number tied to my info & photo as do most in the western world. Although this system will make it easier for the AC when he comes I don't see that this has anything to do with the mark of the beast. Remember it is not our mark or number that is at issue. It is when one takes on the mark of the beast or identifies with him that is the issue. When this happens this system will make it easier to identify who has not taken his mark but that could be said for most countries.
It is a part of the larger plan
Mon, 01/16/2012 - 22:52I am from India and I am closely following up with this development. Unique Id 'Craddle to the Grave' concept is being implemented in various countries. One of the chief architects of the concept, Mr.Narayanmurthy (formerly the chairman of Infosys) made a statement that since a major portion of the Indian poor population is nomadic, there is every possibility that they will misplace the card and hence the unique ID number can be "PRINTED ON THEIR HAND IN INVISIBLE INK" which will solve the problem.
If you go through the world economy news you will be aware that the process for "One World Currency' is already underway. Once each person has a unique id, the next step will be to insert a chip in the hand or forehead so that "you do not misplace the card". The chip will contain all your information so no need to carry cash just a swipe of your hand " and the scanner in the shop will recognise you and will also chk the balance in your account and you "buy or sell" anything. If you do not have the same - sorry you "cannot buy or sell" anything. All your information will be with the '"authorities". You cannot run, cannot hide.
Something similar is being implemented in the US army. The idea is to tag each soldier with a unique id preferably with a chip inserted in his arm so that the "Computer" can track each soldier via the GPS. The idea - very convincing, is to track each soldier and "take care of our men".
Which ever way you look at it it will be implemented. The idea perse is not wrong. One world, one community is all great but it will be used by the "Antichrist" for his purpose. We cannot stop it as it is written and will happen.
What we can do is to be alert, to be awake be strong, be together, keep the lamp burning until our Bridegroom arrives. Praise the Lord!!
A chip or a tattoo
Mon, 01/16/2012 - 23:49University of Illinois developed a tattoo computer that can be placed on the skin and undetected. It can contain all the Info necessary for all life transactions. The devils emissaries are hard at work developing the final product for the false prophet to use for the Mark of the Beast Re 13:16 And he[ false prophet] causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
