America: The Need to Heed Isaiah 5

Last week the birthplace of Josef Stalin (Gori, Georgia) removed a twenty-foot statue of the tyrant in the dark of night away from the prying eyes of the media. Officials said that it would be replaced with a memorial to the victims of Soviet dictatorship. Stalin's regime, which ended with his death in 1953, is estimated to have killed a MINIMUM of
20,000,000 people through execution and government induced starvation.

Earlier this month, Bedford, Virginia erected a statue of this same tyrant and unveiled it during a D-Day ceremony. A bust of Josef Stalin is now part of a memorial to those who fought and died on the beaches of Normandy. We call those Americans who defeated the totalitarianism of WWII the "Greatest Generation.
